If you already print a return address in either of the above formats and meet the new specifications, no action is required. 

I want my mail returned to me – what can I do?

Various options are available to you depending on whether you want to print your return address on the front or back of your envelope

Addressing on the front of an envelope

1. Return Address Slogan Only - all franking machines in the Pitney Bowes range have the facility to print a return address using a slogan. The required format is a as follows:-

2. Combined Graphic and Return Address Slogan - all franking machines in the Pitney Bowes range, with the exception of PersonalPost™ (E725/E726) have the facility to print a return address in conjunction with your logo as a slogan plate. The required format is a as follows:-

3. Text Entry Options - The following Pitney Bowes machines have the ability to create a return address using text entry functionality.

DM200i™ - The DM200i™ has the ability to print a return address alongside your company logo slogan. It will however be necessary to combine either the Post Town and Post Code on the same line, or the Door Number and Street with the Post Town as shown below, as there are only 4 lines of text available. This is part of the machine's functionality and is therefore free of charge.

DM390™ - The DM390™ can ONLY be used for return addressing when the slogan is disabled. There are 6 lines of 32 characters available in this format.

Addressing Printers - Pitney Bowes offer a range of addressing printers that will not only enable you to print a return address on your envelopes, but also link to a PC for printing addresses from your database and exciting graphics.
